i am interested too for those spots where the threads start to look different. Just want to put on a dab to keep things from happening. I know when I had a rc plane I couldn't use any old super glue. Is there something safe for kite fabric?

GlueFix from KiteFix is good stuff. Sticky for fabric, flexible, UV resistant, waterproof.

Super glue works fine on sails for small repairs that don't cross over cells. I've used it on many sport kites and a few foils too but you need to get it right the first time.
