Video: Cruisin with kteguru
Footage from the Spring 2010 Wildwood Buggy Bash. A big thanks to Dean aka "kteguru" for giving me a lift on the back of his buggy so I could capture
this footage. THANKS DEAN!!
I had posted this on YouTube, but they really butchered the quality so i'm giving Vimeo a shot, definitely looks better. Hope you guys like the video,
let me know what you think!

That video simply ROCKS! I just preview the raw video the other night and was laughing that you were yelling for me to slow down. Thanks for getting
me hooked on the music and video footage!

Man, that's just kite p0rn. I didn't want it to end. What were the conditions that the blade had an advantage on the venom and then the venom had
the advantage later. Wind pick up? My heart jumped when I saw that blade launch. The only kite I ever regretted selling. Maybe someday I'll get
one again.

Unbelievable vid Rian . Everyone's videos of WW just keep getting better!!! And yes,,,, we were yelling at Todd to slow down due to
his unfair use of some kind of Venom afterburners or something .
There's a lot to be said for depower when the winds are 12 gusting past 25. Todd had the advantage the whole way Bob. When the gusts hit it
appeared he was able to just depower and maintain a decent line down the beach unlike Rian and I just doing 3 wheel drifts with each gust even though
our combined weight must be easily past 350 lbs. Todd is without a doubt a master with those flying mattress thingy's .
Sorry again for the destruction of your camera mount Rian. Us rookie's are always breaking things on the light wind days;-).

Thanks for the compliments everyone, I really appreciate them! This was only the second video i've ever attempted and I have to say, I did put in a
little effort.
Dean, like I said before, no worries on that camera mount. My brother-in-law is
gonna get it fixed up for me. I'm just glad nothing was damaged on your end. Out of curiousity, did you see it and were trying not to hit it, or just
didn't see it at all. Only reason I ask is I want to make sure it's very visible to everyone around because of it's position. I was concerned about
that when I brought it out and was going to put flags or something on top. I think you suggested painting it a bright fluorescent color. I just don't
want it to be a hazzard to anyone.

Definately did not see it Rian. I wouldn't intentionally try to get it caught in a kite. I didn't see it til it was too late. Of course the wind
being really light that day didn't help the 8.5 stay in the air either. :Ange09:

Gotcha. I wasn't sure if you were able to see it and were unable to avoid it, or if it was just invisible all together. When I get it back, i'm gonna
see if I can get it painted up and put something on top to make it more visible. I may end up cutting down the height too. I just started with it that
tall to see how the angle would look. I knew it'd be easier to start big and work my way down, rather than the opposite.

Just a thought for the top of that camera mount would be a section of orange surveyor's tape, something that might not flap around so much causing
vibration.
Oh, can we talk about some afterburners now :D

Ok, That's it No more blowing by Dean due to the use of depower afterburners
on ridiculous gusty days. I need one of those flying mattress thingy's . Who can hook me up with a test of a Charger 12? What size was that Venom Todd? 13?

Now let’s take a note of this... I Todd did not first bring up the afterburner subject. However now that the topic has surfaced I can sit back with my
can of lighter fluid adding a little at a time.
I hate to break it to you Dean but that was my little ol' 8m doing its magic, a flying pillow case if you will. I'd have to put the buggy on a scale
but I could guarantee that my combined weight would be 350 plus. I'm a believer in those Carlisle’s holding a true line for me!
You sir are the master of flying those flexi's but I can arrange a 12m Charger for you to demo if interested
