Jay Factory Dyna Bar for Buggy

There site only mentions Boarding for this spreader Bar. Anyone try one in a buggy?

That is a great design with the chicken finger built into the spreader bar - think I may go make a mod to my spreader bar - would be great to not have to adjust that dang finger every time I hook in. Thanks for the heads up - the rest of that gear looks really nice. I love good design.

I think I might try one out. I called a Cali shop that stocks them for $119. He said they will be good in a Buggy. Would like to find someone who has tried it in a Buggy before buying.

I think a harness is going to be more important than the actual spreader bar. Comfort is really up to how the harness fits and adjusts as you go - my dakine storm harness is a serious pain - the straps that you pull to tighten up the spreader bar are always extremely difficult to tighten - loosening is not a problem - as a matter of fact they loosen up after about 10 minutes of riding to the point that my spreader bar is jammed into my diaphram.

I use a hammerhead spreader bar (the hook part swivels up) which is nice in that it reduces upward torque on the spreader bar and the pad. You can have the most awesomely designed spreader bar, but if used with a mediocre harness that is difficult to use and uncomfortable it won't really matter. Besides $119 for a spreader bar is a bit steep. The hammerhead and pad cost me $60.

When Angus still stocked Flexifoil, he stocked a Flexifoil Chicken Loop Lock that was sold seperately and meant to attach to the spreader bar.

Apparently... Ozone makes something similar.

I remember Blake did the same thing as this with a zip tie. Great idea!
