That must be the Hudson River in the background. Have you ever seen anyone kitesurf the Hudson?

Yes that is the Hudson River. I have heard there is a group that Kitesurfs out there but the launch area is about an hour south of me. The bridge in
the background used to be an old railroad track but has been turned into the worlds longest suspended park "walkway over the Hudson" it connects a
bike trail from one county to the next over 60mi long.

Those are some good pics. When I saw it posted in the early AM, there was none there, then there was one but now I see them all.
Yea I'm on a late second shift now and hardly sleep before the rooster calls.

yea, if you google hudson river rats, those are the guys up by you (mostly windsurfers). a little further down is the hudsonriverwindsurfers yahoo
group crowd.
