Riding without bindings
Has anyone ever taken off the handle and bindings to just go for a cruise?? I tried taking the board to the park and skating the paved trails while my
kids rode bikes and found that the bindings really were in the way. I'm sure that it would become natural to ride with them if I continued to use them
while just skating around, but can't see myself using the board off the hill or without kite all that much. I really wish I just had a long board to
cruise with and that would solve this issue all together.

I unstrap mine for down hill runs. This way I can get off a little faster when things don't go right. But they are still on there and that might not
be cool with your riding.
I'm sure just taking them completely off would help a lot. Trying to keep up with the kids would be tough. I'd just grab the back of a seat.

I have an MBS Urban Cruiser Longboard I picked up from Dakitez. It has solid wheels and no bindings and is perfect for keeping up with my son on his
bicycle or razor.

Took the bindings and handle off last night and went for a ride. Not too bad for feel although my trucks could have been looser for turning. Those
hard wheels or maybe the roadie tires might have to be an option cause I noticed that I couldn't stay rollin' for a long time like on a longboard.
Then again it isn't a longboard.
Best part of it was how a couple of guys riding real longboards passed me on a bike path and then were shocked when I rolled right past them on some
loose gravel, that they had to stop at. Anyway glad I finally gave it a go. I'm still gonna use it for bombing down hills and kiting but now I
can keep up to my kids at the park when we go there If looking for something
different to try on flatland I recommend giving it a go
