Not kiting...but very BADAS$...

I've been to Kite Fests at Liberty Park, and heard there's some buggys out once in a while. The view there is surreal - all these famous landmarks, skyscrapers and occasional tall ships moving between them - all compressed and layered at eye-level around you, like some Photoshop fake.

So this would be quite a sight

Looks cool but the camera editing almost renders that unwatchable if you are trying to figure out what they are actually doing.

That's the Red Bull Air Races, pretty cool, but they fly the track one at a time, and have to be doing less than 230 mph at the starting gate. Now the Reno Air Races, that's 4 to 6 planes in a heat in several different classes. Those guys have major b@lls. 500 mph with 5 other planes around a 15 (or so) mile track, barely a hundred feet off the ground:wee:. They even have a jet class that does 540+ mph. I wanted to be a fighter pilot as a kid, then found out you couldn't wear glasses and fly fighter planes. I wish I had the millions to get into that.

Kites are a lot cheaper and your life is by far a lot safer with them, lol. Even if your trying to jump with a 3m

I watched some you tube videos of this once. It is cool when they hit the cones. They just burst and fall. The cones not the plains!

Red bull air race is pretty much a national event here haha. We have a lot of propheads walking around so its quite the popular show. like watching F1 or the world cup or something haha
