Newbie going to the beach soon

I'm going to destin for a week at the end of August and, as I have been itching to try power kiting for a long time, I figure it's the perfect time to get a power kite and start learning!

I'm trying to figure out what kite to buy. I'm 6'2, 150lbs and I don't have experience with anything other than your basic delta kite. I'd like something that won't kill me with the winds on the beach, but that can drag me around in the sand some once I get decent with it by the end of the week. I may take a lesson while down there as well. Since I'm new to the sport and may end up having to buy bigger/better ones once I'm done training, I'm trying to keep to around 100 or less for my first one. I'm wondering if I should go for a 2-line trainer or a 4-line trainer (parastunter 1.4 quad). Also, is 1.4 or 1.8 or 2.2 (symphony 2.2) big enough to drag me around some? Or should I be looking at a 3+ meter kite?

Please let me know which of these I should most consider and any others that I left off:

b2 trainer: $99
t-foil trainer: $50
flexifoil buzz: $105
ozone imp: $129
symphony 1.4: $45
symphony 1.8: $75
symphony 2.2: $106
parastunter 1.4 quad: $65

thanks,
Nicholas
