Years ago I was flying Skynasaurs and recently I foound out about power kites. I brought a Symphony HQ 2.2 and mastered it in a day. Here's my question, I want to kite buggy and I think I need a bigger kite. Ofcourse I will practice BEFORE I find and buy a kite buggy! Suggestions on the kite?

You need a 2-3Meter 4 line kite designed for Buggying. You can use the Symphony But is is not designed for traction.

LOL. I once flew my snapshot 1.4 in gusty 30+ mph.... still surprised it survived the session....

muliple downloops in the corners of the window while flying blind... now that would approach mastery.... Or brian holgate doing his one-handed one-foot two-wheel buggy thing....

This is the right place to start to learn about what you are looking for.

I started here asking the same question about a symphony and I got a similar response as the symphony is not a power kite and we are on a power kite forum. I persisted and here I am today.

For buggies you want to look at Peter Lynn Hornets, Vipers, Reactors or even the HQ Beamer. The best starting point would be something in the 3m size and you need to learn to be able to handle the Power kites before you really hop on a buggy.

I would recommend starting with one of those that will be a good entry level power kite that you could transition to buggying with later. Of course the 3m will be on the higher wind side for buggying, but it will give you a good starting point.

It is because of the "mastered" comment after only one session. it is funny because we have all been there at one time, but then we learn that mother nature will slap you down in a second. So just be careful and do not get to over confident too quick. Just remember mother nature is always got her eye on you and her hand is up and ready to deliver the smack down at any moment
