Hiking the Long Trail.

Hello all. Once again we are heading up to VT. to do yet another funfilled 10 days on the Long Trail.
This year we are doing the top sections (not sure how many miles or how many sections we are doing) Sandy does all that stuff. I carry the food!!. And finnishing in Canada. Just north of North Troy VT. in Quebec.
I am wondering if we have any members in this area? Not looking for anything just to say hello! We will be on the trail from July 12th- 22nd.
Yeah a long time for that much distance. But were older and like to take pictures!!
Dave.

That would be nice to take 10 days and not have to rush. Enjoy your time there. I think we will take another trip towards the end of the year when it cools down.

Well we just got home last night. I'm sure you all missed me A LOT  . Or did you not know I was gone  . Ok so it was another great hike in the mountains of VT. Only took us 6 days instead of 10 like we figured. Though we packed food up and down many mountains we did not end up needing. Any one who does Long distaince primative backpacking knows food is the most of the wieght, so extra is not good!! And now back to the real world. Work and bills.
Maybe even fly some kites soon.:singing:

dude that is chill for me... no people, no... well no people anyway! I enjoy hiking, and just the whole disconnect form all the BS in a day to day... that is chill for me... even if im busting my a$$, pitting myself against nature, its relaxing in it's challenge, just me, maybe a close friend, and nature... ultimate chill for me... esp given how this week is going!
