MBS Pro 90
Does anyone ride an MBS pro 90?
I'm thinking of upgrading my trusty flexdeck which is great for doing speed runs in a straight line but is heavy and not that maneuverable.
Any feedback regarding the board, particularly how well it pops and lands jumps would be great. My jumps are pretty small at the moment but I think
getting better gear may help me go bigger.

My best kiting buddy just upgraded from a 3 year old MBS Core90 to the 2010 Pro 90, and he's absolutely loving it. Better pop all around, new
bindings are just awesome.
I'm thinking about replacing my GI "talon" bindings with these new MBS ones...they are very nice.

I'm not much of a rider yet, and don't have any other board to compare to; but, here's my take on it.
The pro 90 is a very "poppy" deck, with amazing response. My board has the MBS ATS PRO Ti trucks and noticed that they are very durable. It is a very
light board, that just feels right when under your feet. The grab handle has been a life saver when having to walk any distance, I'm no where near
being able to do tricks but can see how it will be easy to grab when trying to.
I have been using this board for freeriding down dirt and grass hills and really see how a stiffer board would be better for that sort of thing. It
picks up speed wobble quite quickly but the matrix channel system with stiffer egg shocks could tame that. From what I've seen and understand, this is
the daddy of boards if you are interested in jumping and tricks. I've grown to enjoy everything about this board and am sure that it will serve me
well into an advanced riding skill.
I would highly recommend trying one out before you buy if you can, as it is one of the upper end priced boards out there. But I'm sure if you are an
experienced rider you won't have any issues with it. :D
Good luck with your decision

Thanks guys.
shaggs i'm not that great on a landboard myself really - just started to jump and finding my long heavy flexdeck a pain in the ass! So its good to
get your opinion.
I want something with lots of pop - something that feels nore like a snowboard so i'm glad to hear the Pro 90 delivers.
Yeah the bindings look awesome - the first thing that attracted me to MBS boards. I was originally just going to just upgrade my bindings but then
started thinking I would just upgrade the whole board!
I would love to try before i buy but I don't know anyone who has one and the nearest MBS dealer is 600 miles away! (thats a long way in the UK!!)
the prices are really expensive in the UK too. 455 GBP! I think i will keep scrounging around for a go on someone elses board before i buy one.

lives-I would go with Trampa or D-EX(Design Extreme) since you are in the UK. much closer to you usually means better customer service.

Well I have a really reliable dealer for all my Kite stuff - its just that I have to get it all over the internet or phone.
The service is really great though and they offer full component support and so on. MBS are pretty big in Europe really its just the prices that are
off putting!
I didn't know Trampa do a lightweight deck. Will check it out. D-EX also, not familiar with their stuff at all.
