2010 / 2011 NAPKA Membership Registration is now open!

Hello Kite Buggiers, ATB Landboarders, Kite Skaters, Kite Dirt Surfers of North America

The time has come; we are now opening 2010/2011 North American Power Kiting Association (NAPKA) Member Registration. We were trying to get all of the corporate documents completed pertaining to our name before we opened registration, but we can’t wait any longer.

Our Insurance premium is due by August 15, 2010 so we must act now. Please go to our new website www.NAPKA.org New members; you need to click on "Join NAPKA" and follow the instructions. For current members, you need to click on "Login" and then under "Pilots Menu" click on "Membership Renewal" and follow the instructions to register. You will be able to use PayPal or send a check via snail mail. Current members will be issued a card with their old photo on it, unless another picture is emailed to me with your new signed waiver form.

You will see our newly reworked website, thank you Morrie Williams, and those that helped make the changes. I hope you will find that the site is more streamlined and user friendly. If you come across something that may need some tweaking let us know specifically what it is, via a personal email so we can work on it.

Regards
Brad Rex

Brad, I will be more than happy to join the new org. . I'm very pleased with the new name and the inclusion of atb and other traction kite related sport. This can and will be, a very good thing for the kiting community. Thanks for all your hard work , and thanks to the others that get little recognition.

Uhhh.. I don't have a passport. What should the pic look like ?

Done. I chose a number on the registration form but since I had trouble deciding, can't remember what it was. I guess I'll get something along the way to remind me. Snail mail on the waiver is the most cumbersome part. I pulled it off though.

Blade I know what you are talking about. One line is for the current charge and the other line is showing that it will be a recurring charge. You're probably ok.

It certainty doesn't have to be that precise, but that's a good guideline. Anything close to that will do.

I've been talking with Morrie this morning and he reminded me of the number I chose. Apparently, I'm the US version of Ripsessions number! I had no idea and picked the number out of the sky. I'll need to get some number plates for my bug so we can have a picture of "North vs South". U2U sent to rip.

I can put a link and a blurb on my home page. Someone get me some details on the insurance- briefly what it does and does not cover so I don't accidentally misrepresent anything.

edit: lets see if other vendors can do the same as we get traffic from search engines separate from forums.

Someone coming back from World Cup with a win would be a big help !

It is probably premature but now we are capable maybe getting some ATB and buggy freestyle competitions started up would get some attention? :puzzled:

lol, no pressure, eh. im focused with the crew's help ... you guys are of big part of it for me. cheers!

i would be down for hosting some freestyle events. at least this requires less space than course racing.

@ Rip don't worry no one is waiting for a win to come from Canada. I 'll cover the "win" part for NAPKA!:singing:

ROFL, not if you're on my vapors ... hehehe

see you soon, bro
