the seat is flexi

the side rails are : F-Lynn Conversion Kit, basically the same as Flexi

we have the carbon axles instock for the XR+ 20mm. if you need a one for your Flexi this is possible too.

if i have it, that means daskirtz is instock too. hehehe.

U2U him for more details. :wee:

Hello :)

Yes it's all PL except for the seat which is the old style Flexi, but the kiwi guys are working on that as we speak.

I have it to fit 12mm bolts on the composite axle for both my Flexi & PL bug (as they were the wheels/bolts I already had), but you can have 20mm if you wish. Most of the parts will integrate with my Flexi bug, they did that so if I broke something I could continue to test the rest, but it means folks with a Flexi who don't want to buy a whole new buggy can upgrade it piece by piece. I also checked for someone over here & they said the add ons will fit the XR and the Mk2 Comp too. I just think it's fantastic! Most people can't afford to go out & buy the newest fandangled technology even if they want to, so making it as a complete bug or add ons makes it much more like the landboard market. It's also nice to see a company investing in freestyle & letting people chose instead of opting for cheaper materials that you need to reinforce yourself if the materials allow that! Added to that it's a lot lighter than my reinforced Flexi :)

I tested it to the max this weekend. We had the BKSA (British freestyle) competition & it performend to perfection in 20+ mph wind. Marijn came over from Holland so I was lucky enough to be sent out to play with a proto so it took a couple of hard knocks from some super high boosters before I got the redirect timing sorted & not a flinch from the buggy at all. I was also honking it up the pebble ridge, no unwanted bouncing anywhere, I absolutely love it! Bear in mind that I've had this for over a year now but every time I've taken it out something has broken so even with all the new parts I was still a little anxious at first. Craig & the guys in NZ have spent endless amounts of time back at the drawing board until they've got it right & by jove I think they've cracked it!

I'll keep you up to date with how it goes. I'm no expert in how or why it works, just the crash test dummy, so if you want to know anything technical about it contact Kirsty over in new Zealand who can pass any questions to the designers. Her email addy is Sales@peterlynnkites.com

Cheers
Karen x

So is PL now a source for Flexi stainless parts?

Uncles. I started with some industrial velcro!!!haha Then found Uncles. I have 2 -this is a 3 point, Mark also made me a pink 3 point one I have on my flexi bug which I've changed to a 2. I found the 3 easier to learn on but I can't do certain tricks with it & I get really attractive bruising so I'm going to change this to a 2point. They're fab though, no signs of wear after 3yrs, (often being left for days in the back garden!) but it's worth changing the release to wichard if you get one.

BB-yeh they interlink if you want to upgrade to composite

I knew they interlinked. I made a Flexi/PL bigfoot buggy with a Flexi wide axle and side rails and PL downtube and fork. That's cool that there is still a way to get Flexi frame parts in stainless.
