anybody up for kiting in the san antonio area the last weekend of this month??? is back home.


if anyone is in the area and wants to let me fly their kite, knows a place to rent (possibly buy), or wants to mess around w my blade i really miss my freedom and need to fly! lol

JoeBlinky...I am in Kerrville and their are a couple of ok places to fly if you wanted to come up here. If you want to meet up let me know. (1 hour away from S.A.) I also have been thinking about checking out a place in Boerne that is suppose to be good. (public park with big field) That would be half way for both of us if you are in SA

It is still pretty hot....I could bring the easy up for some shade and a couple of coolers for refreshments. Maybe one or two more flyers with me.

Come on down to Port A, there is always wind here....Beaches aren't as crowded as they were.....I've been on the water 18 days in a row......

i am game on either one but i have never kited on the water before so that would be a whole new ball game. i'll let you know when my kite gets back, may have to make both trip seporate weeks. right now i gotta keep my head in the game i am taking 5 tests in the next 7 days...... i don't want to study at all right now!

Cool....looks like I am going to go to Canyon lake anyway this weekend.....I may give the kite board its first try. Let me know when you are ready to meet up and we will get some flying in. Check out my list you are more than welcome to fly anything I have.

look up central texas kiteboarders. there is a better lake then canyon.

I have been on that web site...which lake is better??? I don't have much choice this weekend....inlaws are taking out the 26ft Wellcraft and so I have a chase boat to help. I am planning on some wake boarding as well.

sweet! i think i am going to head out to kerrville not this weekend but the next. i have a friend i am hoping to meet up with there too so i will just rent a care and go all the way out there.

i forget if i mentioned but i am in combat medic training and our sergeants could pull some crap and not let us leave but if they are cool that weekend i will be there for sure.
