We'll need approx age-level of fitness, if you have ever flown even a two-line stunt kite, what approximate conditions you will be flying in, etc....

We don't want to steer you wrong, but we can't steer ya right unless we get a bit more info.

General Advice-a smaller high-quality trainer kite in a size such as 3 meters can be an excellent way to get your foot in the door and see if kiting is really something you enjoy, and it can eventually be your kite for very windy days, even when you're quite knowledgeable about the sport.

Tide? What's a tide? Man, it's 1000 miles to any ocean.

It's difficult for a 2 year old to reach the foot pegs.

The younger the better. Less prone to hip and back pain.

My 11 year old just picked it up with ease. He could've learned earlier possibly. Fitting in the buggy and kite control are the limiting factors.
