Extending a flexifoil

I now own a flexifoil Sport Buggy and there is one problem. I am 6'6".

Has anybody extend the main square tube. I have a few ideas on how to do it but maybe has already made the same mod.
Its a 2002 sport Model

Thanks Dan

I am NOT the king of buggies but am thinking extending the front end will effect your traction. Putting your weight too far back and losing traction . Frankinbuggy has the weight back of centre and I slide out very easy. It suits me but is the WRONG set-up for racing.

Kites: 2.5m Profoil , Quadrifoil XL kitesurfer, NPW 5 Danger.
Flexifoil: 1.7m Sting, 4.9m Blade 3, 9m Blade 2.
Flysurfer : 19m Speed 2 SA, 7m Pulse
Peter Lynn :18m Phantom, 15m Synergy, 10m Synergy, 1200 Farc, 460 Sarc, 130 Tarc, 5m Peel, 4.2m , 6.4, 8.5 C-Quads, 3.5 LS2 single skin.

Rides: Flexi / P.L. Frankin'Buggy , Shaped + straight skiis, sand skis, Coyote blades. Core 95 ATB. RKB R2 ATB .

I would think twice about extending your existing one...the down tube take a lot of the torsional and lateral loads, especially if you do tricks

Buy some 40X40 box section, 500mm long, and a 80mm piece of stainless tube that will snugly fit the nylon bushes, then get a local welder to weld it up....copy the hole pattern = Flexi extended downtube
