Sandy Point with XT4m vid

Did a trip down to Sandy Point on the 18th Sept with Jolli, Joel, Nigel & Kathleen. Wind was very gusty 25-30 knots at about a 45 degree angle to the beach. New kite - 4m Access XT - which handled to conditions pretty well. Never folded or luffed although it was a little more 'skittish' than I was hoping for but the power backed off nicely when you let the bar out. Started off taking it pretty easy as it's been a while since I've flown in this much wind. A little later tried to beat my PB of 64.4km/hr - funny thing about the downwind runs - I felt like I was going a good 10 km/hr slower than what I was. But it was a slog back upwind! Left the music off this one 'cos I thought the roar of the wind was pretty impressive (I know 30knots if not a lot for some of you guys but it's plenty for me!)
