Seems crazy now


Was just watching this vid - amazing that someone would use a 2 line inflatable c-kite to pull off the maneuvers that this guy is doing. Also interesting to see how he sets up a load and pop without depower.

Wish I had seen this video 8 years ago, so instead of learning load and pop here in 2010 id be on the cover of kiteboarding magazine kitelooping while Susi Mai cheered me on from the beach *drool*

there is also some "oooooolllllld school" videos of a guy (hawaiian i think) that modded his Flexi Blades to two lines. he is on the water doing huge boosts and they are super soft boost not yankety yankety yanks stuff. he was selling the blades on the bay i think a 5-6 months back and that's how i got the link.

The 4.9m blade III I have I bought about 3 years ago from a guy in southern California and he had taken off the brakes for possibly the same reason. Luckily he included the brakes in the deal and I was able to sort them out after some diligent effort of untangling the birds nests of lines. Taking a blade out on the water seems even crazier than flying a 2 line inflateable.
