Navigator bar

How many of you have used a navigator bar on older arcs?
How did it work? Any likes, dislikes? I'm refering to arcs such as the Scorpions, Venoms, Phantoms. Not so much the original F-arcs.

I have only tried it on my S-arc but it worked great!

The adjustable stopper makes it very versitile!

Used it on the Synergy - improvement over the Zero7 for sure, although I prefer the grip of the Oh-7

Thanks guys, was entertaining the thought of one bar for a quiver of arcs. Thought this was one way to keep the cost down rather than every arc with its own bar. I understand that smaller arcs may be too twitchy with a large bar, but the Navigator is somewhat adjustable in size. I've been a tad poorer in the last year due to a new truck purchase, old one was goin to heck. Back to payments again :(

If only I could kite to work!

The only issue I have had with such things is the sleeving on your lines tends to get chewed up after a bit of swapping from kite to kite. Hear you on the car payment thing, too.

But your payments wouldn't be as high if you hadn't asked the dealer last year to gift wrap Edlys rental last year!

Modify usage and these would probably get you sorted with regards to sleeve wear.

I couldn't afford a nav bar, so I changed out the single chicken line for a double, and used the PL stopper ball. Doing this to all my bars.

I know it is not a full nav bar, but it does have the adjustable stopper, which was what I was looking for.

It has the same release mechanism as the 07 bar. Had to cut out the little metal piece that folds into the top hat, and tie it into the double line. Tie in a short piece of elastic cord and connect it to the top hat (drill a small hole).

If someone wants some pictures, I could post them here.

Yeah I thought that the PL safety leash top hat bungy thing might be a good mod for the 07 bars ... I think you should do a write-up, geokite! :bigok:
