I threw in the towel on bladders

Sold my LEIs. Hoo-ray!!
Always traveling, fixing, finding room
to pack a pump.
I'm so over it...
I have my mind set on going back to PL kites.
Miss the simplicity, and all of the
great characteristics...
progressed a lot since the V1 16 and B10.5
I learned on back in 2006.

There is only one unknown ARC rider
here in Oahu, Hawaii,
that I know of, who flies an 18m Phantom
regularly and he has definitely stoked a fire for me
to use the ARC engine again.
He's always having a good time out there,
and He did well in the Naish Oahu
Kiteboarding race here in Aug'10.

Have the 8m/10m SYNERGY kites,
but that leaves me still searching for the
main kite in the quiver,
I am specifically looking around for a
Charger 15m.
(Wish for 14-24 MPH at 170 lbs,
intermediate on a Xanadu 6ft fish directional)

On the way is a 3.5m HQ Hydra
4-line depower mod from John at Powerzone,
in the NW, USA. I'll let you know
how that works as a challenging
trainer for the kiteboarding interested
men in my group, as well as a
Freebord/kayak/MBS board engine.

L8tr,
Today

We all start out with a big bag of luck, and an empty bag of experience. The trick is to fill your bag of experience, before you empty your bag of luck.
Learned on PLK B10.5, V13&16 in 2006.
Now: 8, 10m RPM, 21m Speed3.

Shh ... don't tell the haters or they'll string you up

I think Mark the Albatross is also in the Hawaii area ... he's got Chargers & Synergys IIRC and for sure rides a surfboard.

Yeah... I got a kite. Or two...

I have sent a few Chargers into Hawaii so there is a few riders. You are not alone - still the minority though. :) Others will learn.
