Well let me start off by saying that the WBB Fall Bash 2010 was outstanding! The winds, although not coming from the most favorable direction, were
great to nuking the entire time! There were a ton of kites in the air most days! I remember in the spring when a bunch of us were just sitting in our
buggies waiting for even a breath of wind to get the buggies going. This was definitely not the case for the fall bash! Saturday was by far the
busiest day, the winds were a little gusty and blowing straight up the beach, it made for some great runs sideways across the beach, but was good
enough for most of us there! Of course we had a lot of bloopers(soon to be seen in Todd's, and others videos) but that just added to the fun.
The Shalimar Resort was great to us and the rooms were really nice! They even gave us a few tables to use during the Saturday night BBQ. The BBQ was
also great! Todd and I did the cooking on the grill and a lot of others contributed to the meal with what they had prepared. Thanks to everyone for
their contributions to help make the BBQ a successful, family style BBQ. It was a hit for sure!
There will be a lot more said in the next week or so from those who attended. Lots of pics and video also coming.
It was great to see all the familiar faces, and the new faces on the beach as well! This thing is really growing!
For those who attended, I hope everyone had a great time, I know I did.
I just want to say thanks to everybody for helping make this a great Bash! See you guys sooner than later!
Just got home myself. What an amazing weekend. Only put in 8 miles this morning, but man am I tired. Thanks again to everyone for helping makes this
such a successful bash. I can't wait to see all the videos and pictures. Once I get the ones my wife took uploaded, I'll post a link. See ya next
time!
The Kidd and I just got home. What a great weekend. He broke his own speed record and hit 15mph with a 2.2C-quad and his PL SDT. He was real happy.
Myself I did some good speeds untill I hit a rutt on a shrp turn and flipped the Rat onto myself. To bad no video this time
Every one was great, the food was great (thanks guys) and the wind was there all weekend. Is it spring yet?:dunno:

Snow will be here soon, and we usually get lots of wind to go with it! It ain't buggying, but it can be every bit as fun!(Of course, I buggied on the
ice last year, talk about fun!)And even funner to watch, right Maven?(I shouldn't talk, I've been tossed around enough by my 8M!) Really sorry I
missed out on the Wildwood fun this time, now I'm all that more determined to make the next one!

Good deal Bob, I actually have expressed a great interest in making Tug Hill and have also mentioned it to Chudalicious!
We got to meet her at WW, What a great addition to the sport! She is good at snow boarding and is now trying to mix the two! See you in the spring or
sooner!
Someone good at snowboarding! There's where I need to progress. Gonna hit the slopes as soon as possible and get at least one more lesson. I can
ride heelside and toeside pretty well, I really need speed work, and more confidence with what will happen when I do this, or that, etc. I really
wish I had acquired these skills 20-30 years ago! Fear really has a way of slowing progression!

We're home as well now. No more "pink skirt curse"happenings went on,so it's all good.
I WANT TO SAY "BIG THANKS" GO OUT TO THE GUYS FROM E.C.K.S FOR MAKING SURE THAT THE BASH WAS A GREAT EVENT! YOU GUYS ROCK!: thumbup:And to all
the people who turned out to fly and have fun, SEE YA SOON!( is it April yet?)
Even w/ all the equipment damage , it was deffo a BLAST! I think we should change the name though, to the Wildwood buggy BLAST. I'm pretty sure we
have exceeded the BASH status by far. I hope all the first timers had fun and all the newbies got some good learning experiences.
I will get some stuff together to post , not sure how much vid I got though. I wasn't drivin one of those "surveillance Buggies " so I only got so much.
Gotta go now ,we came home to some bad news so I gotta go deal w/ real life for a bit.

It was great to see everyone again and meet some new people.
Finally got to test out my DIY Zooter, at long last, and it worked like a charm. Got home and couldn't help throwing together a video. Tons of fun,
looking forward to next WWBB.

What a great Bash!!! Had an incredible time as always. Really enjoyed seeing all the familiar faces and meeting the new ones. I want to say thank you
to everyone who made it out and making this such a great event. I've got a bunch of video to go through and will hopefully get something posted soon!
A big thanks to Fran Gramkowski for letting me use his blokarts, which allowed me to capture most of my video footage; and an even bigger thanks for
all your support Fran! Thank you to Dean, my sister and her neighbor loved their buggy rides and are looking forward to coming back to the next bash,
thank you for helping to give them a memorable day! A huge thanks to our ECKS team members, the BBQ was fantastic! Todd and Rich grilled up some great
food with Chad and Corey in there with a big helping hand. Thank you Lee and Crisi for the kick ass stickers and all your help as well! I can't say it
enough...THANK YOU EVERYONE!
I have to say....I really love to hop in the buggy or go for a blokart ride, but the highlights of this event for me is all the social interactions
and new relationships that are forged....you guys make this event what it is and it is truly memorable!
Amazing weekend. Great weather, riding and lots of friends. Nothing better than that. The Sat. night grill fest was icing on the cake. Todd, Rian,
Rich and everyone else that contributed...THANK YOU!
All I can say is WOW! What a great time Anderson and I had!
The food, the sights and the flying (albeit static) were awsome! Great meeting everyone and putting names and faces to all the screennames and profile
pix. Thanks to all who put this together and contributed to make this one heck of an introduction to the sport and culture. Next time, we'll be sure
to stay at the Shalimar as well as we are officially Atlantic City'd out :D
I think we got bitten by the buggy, well... bug and are tossing up the idea of a PL XR+ or Anderson's slight affliction of a Bigfoot. Have to do a
little more recon to see which we can fit in the back of his SUV before committing fully but I have a feeling we'll be out there with you all next
time :wee:
Looking forward to Tug Hill and already thinking about how to spice up the snowboards with all the cool stickers we got at the BBQ on Sat night, which
BTW that night was one of the big highlights of the trip for us both. Next time, we'll bring some good ole RI recipies to share if anyone dares. The
other highlight? Flying Greg's 13.5m LEI before we left for home. WOW, never thought I would be attached to a kite that big - and what depower!
Thanks again to everyone who made it all possible and who make this pair of NooBs feel like one of the family.
See ya'll at Tug Hill!!
(Now to brush up on the switch/reverse board riding so I am ready to tack BOTH ways)
Man, this was the first I heard that the Dr. was in! I saw a couple pics that I thought might have been him, but too far away! Oh, I can't wait for
snow, or spring, or a west wind at Southwick! Chuda' you are from RI? I grew up near Misquamicut Beach (but in CT) don't know if buggying is
allowed there, but would like to find out, my parents still live in Groton, CT. Looking forward to Tug Hill, and to Greg and Jackie, sorry I missed
ya! See you when the snow flies!

Great time folks what more can I say? Big thanks go out to Fran and Mary for the support and everything they do to make this sport even greater. To
all that helped out or even just showed up, it was good to see you all, thank you. Hope to see you all soon over the winter at Wildwood for a Shorty
weekend with some SE baby! Also thanks go to those donating the goodies for the lottery on Saturday night; some great gifts were given even if they
stunk a little
Lastly to the ECKS crew, YOU ROCK! Without you I might still be sitting along the road with that flat tire. Thank you Rian and Rich for all of your
support!
