Ok, ladies and gentlemen I am stuck. I like this magazine idea and I want to see it progress. The problem is this: No one has anything that they
want to write. That leaves me with three options:
1. Forget about the whole thing. I don't like this idea...at all.
2. I write all the articles myself. You shouldn't like this idea.
3. Bribary. Here's my offer. I will be giving a HQ Symphony TR 1.4 away to some random writer by way of a drawing. If you submit something that is
used in the magazine you are automaticly entered. It's that easy. Here are some ideas:
Writeup on your favorite kiting spot (anything from a field to a park to a beach).
Photo spread of some sweet shots.
Review of a piece of gear.
Writeup of a non-professional kiter.
Steps on how to perform a trick.
Anything else you think people want to hear about.
Even if your writeup doesn't make it into this issue, as long as it is usable, you will be entered into the drawing. The rules are easy.
All submissions should be between 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 pages of text in lenght and should be in any editable format (ie: NOT a PDF).
The filename of all photos should be in this format:
photographer - subject - location - date taken
For example, if I took a picture of Jane Doe riding at Strawberry Resivor in Utah, it would look like this
MikeOwens - JaneDoe - StrawberryResivorUT - 11212010.JPG
The deadline is December 1st. I'm hoping to get enough submissions to last two issues.
Email all submissions, questions, and/or hate mail to:

Thanks,
Mike
