Peter Lynn Twister II 4.1m-$160 -- SOLD
GOTTA GO!!
Kite comes complete with kite, lines, handles, bag, kite killers, and I can toss in some weights to hold it down on a really windy days.
I weigh 130 lbs, and it does drag me around when dipped into the power zone, and gives me a run for my money when I fly it. I bought this as my first
kite, and knew nothing past dual line kites.
In my opionion, it would be an excellent first kite. It doesn't hesitate to lift, but at 130lbs, I only got big air with 20mph gusty winds.
I previously got this from forum user 'power', which was an excellent transaction. I've only flown it a couple dozen times, and have gotten quite used
to the wind window. Now it's time to upgrade in the future.
I can fly this kite all day long, and not have a problem with it. I just thought i'd be able to jump higher/farther than what I did. I could've
probably started with a 5.6. I chose the 4.1 since it was my first kite
$160 + shipping and it's yours
thanks for looking

oh, also. I took very good care of this kite. I'm OCD about all my hobbies and stuff, and I make absolute sure that I dont screw anything up.
Whenever I put the backpack on, I can still smell the ripstop emanting from the bag, and it's still very crispy. It may have a bit of sand left on it
from this past summer in Galveston.

good time to sell this kite. Pl has been out of stock for awhile. So i doubt there are any dealers around that have any left. So if someone wants a
4.1m your kite will be very attractive
good luck on your sale

Awesome kite! I have a 4.1 and 7.7. One of my favorite FB foils to ever fly. Good in light winds, it will kick your ass when it really starts to pick
up. Loads of fun, beginners can learn on it, but be careful! It is VERY lifty. Super durable, takes like 5 mins to set up. Great high wind kite for
landboarding. If you're landboarding or buggying, I suggest getting some sort of strop line and a harness for it, as the kite will quickly give your
arms a rough workout. If you're a beginner, be careful when flying it in gusty winds, as you can easily end up 30 meters down wind before you even
think about your kite killers.
Great buy for the money, I'd recommend this kite to anyone.
Cheers,
Seanny

On a second note, like DAKITEZ said, this kite is a major pain in the neck to buy new. When I got mine, it took over a month to arrive. This is a good
opportunity here.

obviously, craigslist aint worth a damn anymore. I've tried posting the kite 3 times. THREE TIMES, and it still wont show up in the listings.
anywho, sorry. I'm just trying to hurry and sell this so I can buy my child a nice(r) Christmas gift.
the kite is in pretty much the same condition as I got it from power. Immaculate condition, I took awesome care of this kite. I felt
as though if I'm spending this much money on a few sewn pieces of ripstop and some string, obviously I don't want it to ever get damaged.
thanks guys for the feedback. it's a pleasure and a thrill

@flyjump
Great kite, but not the best to teach people with! My T2 4.1 scares the &$@% out of my friends when the wind picks up
I was out flying it today at the top of it's wind range... winds probably 35 mph... would not recommend this! I weigh 125 pounds. It was lifting me 10
feet parked at the zenith with lines tied on the top knot. The landings were always floaty (I guess 'cause the wind never let up) but I was NOT in
much control, and this would surely hospitalize someone who didn't know what they're doing.
I scudded about 40 feet then gapped a regulation size soccer goal. If only I caught it on camera

Outstanding Kite. I haven't been able to get any for quite awhile. I only have one 3m left out of all Twisters.
@seanny,
OMG with the winds here today...i think I can certify you as crazy. I'm more than double you and I've flown that thing in 25 mph winds. Once.
When you are getting dragged and you are running behind the kite, the answer to the question of how fast is too fast is:
When your heels are kicking yourself in the arse.

Bahahahahaha
Well, that's certainly an accurate judgement! I had that thing parked, and I couldn't keep my feet planted :wee:
Jumping the soccer goal was seriously epic though. It would go on my list of things I've done with a kite this week that nobody should try doing.
Earlier, I tried to make a redneck strop and harness by putting a bungee chord through my belt and hooking it into the handle loops to see what would
happen. ...Not recommended.

are you guys trying to make me hold on to the kite or something?! LOL
I am seriously torn if I should get rid of it It's such a blast. I do however want
something more powerful, and it to be a tube kite.
louisiana summers are too hot to be flying on land, if you get what i mean.

Maybe you should hold onto it. :]
Get your kids something nice for Christmas. It's just paper! You can make the money back. And they can learn to kite on the Twister II.
Also, have you ever thought about an ARC? I know this forum is ARC-happy. The PL Synergy is one of the best kites ever made, IMHO. Clintopher is still
selling one, as far as I know, with a modified Best bar and Q lines for $500. Just scroll down a little in the For Sale section. Such a steal. 15m for
a Synergy is the optimum size, also.

If this is your first kite, just be careful... this is by no means a trainer kite... it is very aggressive and you can seriously hurt yourself if you
don't know what to do...
