East Coast/ Wildwood for December27- Jan1
A few friends of mine are wanting to go on a trip this winter and we'd like to meet up with you east coast guys if it were possible. I am thinking
about meeting up at Wildwood since that is the place that I hear about the most from the East. We may drive up and down the coast and head up to the
Boston area so Invertedforce can see his family. If you are interested please let me know. We can have a pkf family gathering. Plus I'd love to
ride with as many people as possible I'll let people demo my new Trampa and PL
gear if you want. Cheers!

Was already planning on heading up to Tug Hill for New Years, but if snow conditions are not favorable, and Wildwood has wind... Sure, I'll come out
for the weekend... All depends on the snow conditions...

My family is from Northwest RI, but if we come up as far as RI, it might be worth driving up to Mass/NH to meet up. We'll just go where the wind takes
us!

do you think it'll be all snowy up there? All I have is my Trampa board, I guess i could borrow a snowboard from a friend. After talking to
invertedforce this morning on the phone, i'm pretty sure we'll be up in the new england area at somepoint during that week. If there's no wind, we
should all grab a cold one together

Last year we did a trip to Tugg Hill for New Years and had a blast. Year before that I think we were on Wildwood beach for New Years... It really
depends on the weather. Some winters are good for snow... others not so much...

Snow doesn't really matter that much with Nahant. At high tide there really isn't much of a beach. Once the tide drops by about an hour its
rideable. 4-5 hours on each side of low tide is doable year round depending on wind of course . And at the south end of the beach is the Tides restaurant and bar for an afterkiting cold one

Just checked the tides for that week at Nahant and low tide is afternoon for the latter part of the week which would make for some great riding time.
Let us know what days you guys might make it up this way and I'm sure a bunch of us will be there:wee:

I'd say a good guess would be mid to late week Dec 29-31, around that time. I'd like to be in Boston for First Night, so I hope we plan on staying out
there long enough to make that a reality.

Thurs the 30th I can do part of the day and Friday and Sat I can do the whole day. How about you Rocfighter? I'm sure doublespeed360 can make it as
well as several others. Hopefully they'll chime in here.

Just to push this back to the top, we are looking at Tuesday or Friday for a day in Wildwood Crest. With the current storm coming in with of course
play the roll on when it will be. Tuesday has great wind and high tide at 12:47. Friday has a great tide and low wind of about 9. All too far out to
predict but I'm watching it carefully and the car will be packed tomorrow ready to take off in at moments notice.
Cross your fingers!

Sure looks like we're gonna get dumped on Sunday-Monday. Maybe some snow kiting in the local field on Tues.
Now where are those skis?

11pm update was 10 to 20 inches! So much for the storm that was going to miss us and only put about an inch on the ground!
Jamyz, I know where my skis are, I just don't have boots any more! Need to get some soon!
