MBS Core 95?
I need a new landboard. Hoping to pick one up for Christmas. I'm 6'0, very light frame (~125 pounds), and I'm looking for a mid-priced, freestyle kite
ATB. I like the Flight 2010 by GI, but they're sold out of nearly their entire 2010 lineup. Trampa boards are amazing, but a bit expensive. Same goes
with MBS Pro 90. Scrub has the GLD, but it's expensive and I don't really like it. NoSno is out of the question. I'd be willing to go with an older GI
board like the Flight 93, but it's a tad heavy, has no grab handle, and it's a pain to locate one. Thinking about an MBS Core 95? It's a little
long... I'm used to riding a Flexifoil Hunter and other short boards. I like the Vector trucks, though. And it's drilled for a handle. The extra
length shouldn't matter TOO much, should it? I have long legs. Any suggestions? Has anyone freestyled with this board before? Thanks.

I ride a core 90. It is pretty light ant rides nice. I think that it is a pretty different board than the core 95. It is cheaper, shorter, stiffer
and has the skate trucks which are lighter but are not as nice. I guess that means I do not know anything about the core 95.

Kent still has a 2010 Flight Lite listed on his site. For a little more, there is also a 2010 Edge which comes with Bionic Spring trucks which will probably hold up to abuse better than the Skate Titaniums on the Flight Lite.
If you are on a budget, Dino has about GI Special Builds which are essentially mint (i.e. new/never used) '06 decks that were found at the GI warehouse and then fitted with all new 2010
running gear and a fresh set of tubes/tires for a greatly reduced price.
Either one can set you up with an MBS grab handle for just a little more.
A 6" feet, I would actually mark out what some of the listed deck stances are and stand with your feet that far apart of see how comfortable you are
in that position. If you were happy with the Flexfoil Hunter and still have it, measure the deck stance on that and see how the others compare.
ATB,
Sam

I am very pleased with mine.
Light , flexi, stable. I am a lightweight rider and doubt I can bust the Vector trucks but promise to try. This board was the perfect step up from
being forced to learn on much heavier boards . Blade and Comp 16.
Great bang for buck when buying these boards used IMHO.
Kites: 2.5m Profoil , Quadrifoil XL kitesurfer, NPW 5 Danger.
Flexifoil: 1.7m Sting, 4.9m Blade 3, 9m Blade 2.
Flysurfer : 19m Speed 2 SA, 7m Pulse
Peter Lynn :18m Phantom, 15m Synergy, 10m Synergy, 1200 Farc, 460 Sarc, 130 Tarc, 5m Peel, 4.2m , 6.4, 8.5 C-Quads, 3.5 LS2 single skin.
Rides: Flexi / P.L. Frankin'Buggy , Shaped + straight skiis, sand skis, Coyote blades. Core 95 ATB. RKB R2 ATB .
