How's the PtC12 Going?!
Rip started a Pass the 12m Charger a little while ago, just wondering how far along you guys are. What do you think of the kite? The list is HUGE. Who has it?
I dunno, I'm just bored. Tell me stories! :wee:

There has been some difficulty with users not reporting about it(So we only have reports that are "I sent it to... on X date") and keeping it more
than a weekend, which is making it a rather slow pass. It's a freaking amazing kite, though. c-kite turning with PL ARC auto-zenith.
Tide? What's a tide? Man, it's 1000 miles to any ocean.

I think its around Maryland/Virginia right about now... I know a few weeks ago I sent it to Florida and he had a quick few sessions on it and it was
headed up the coast from there.
//Edit//
I had a blast with the charger. What a rush to fly. I took it out before and during a thunderstorm (not the greatest idea, but after 3 weeks of no
wind, I had just received the kite and had to make use of the wind coming off the front).
Winds were 25+ gusting to mid 30's and it blasted me around. Had a few hairy moments where I was afraid I'd blast the kite into the ground but thanks
to the quick turning (I pulled the straps almost all the way in) I averted any crisis.
Great kite, amazing power and turning. If I had the money to get one, I would.

@InvertedForce
Hey! I saw your review. Looks like you had a lot of fun! It's what lead me to post this; I had forgotten about the Charger pass until I read it

My charger gets here tomorrow  If you get a chance to try one, it is awesome. It really does feel like a c-kite and an arc combined. So fast
and direct

Exciting! I'm getting a new board from Dylan tomorrow. :D
By the way, I dunno if you sent the stickers yet or not, but if you did I still have yet to check the mail. In fact, I still have yet to get out of
these PJ pants, because I'm home alone with nothing to do and dammit they are comfyyyy

lol, its good to be comfy on sunday. I'm actually swinging by home to throw the stickers in the envelope in about an hour or so. I had to work at the
skatepark this weekend, so I havn't really had time to grab them. My fiancee gave me a stamped envelope yesterday lol, so they should be there by
wednesday I would imagine

You would probably have to be the most awesome teacher, ever :o
How many of my teachers are sponsored by PL and Trampa and give lessons at a skate park in their free time? Uhh let's see. ZERO.
How many people within 30 miles of me know what either of those two companies are? Uhh, again. ZERO.

hahaha I definatly have a lot of fun with my students. Something that a lot of
people don't know about me on here is that I was a professional skateboarder from 2004-2008 for a company called Hero Skateboards. I first saw kite
landboarding for the first time on the east coast after a summer of teaching a skateboarding camp In Maryland. I think knowing board sports definatly
allowed me to learn kiteboarding quicker than some other riders. A lot of the people from the skatepark are my students at school, so I have an
easier time than most teachers lol

Hero? I've heard of them. Does it have anything to do with Anti-Hero? :o
Being a long time skateboarder and snowboarder (it's hard when you live in Texas, but I somehow manage) I think has helped me pick up kite
landboarding quickly. I also grew up with kites... even before I flew my first power kite, I have been flying stunt kites and such since I was but a
wee lad.
Sundays are amazing. What would I do without them. Chillin' in my room, on PKF on my laptop, in my PJs, drinking a Sprite and jamming to Therion,
completely disregarding my homework. I'll find time for it later. Too bad there isn't enough wind to fly today.

hahaha sounds like a great way to spend the day. I've checked the tracking info to my charger an my PL team stuff so many times today. Tomorrow when
I get home from work will be my Christmas! 2 boxes from PL waiting for me on my front porch will be a good sight to see. I can't wait to set up the
new kite and whip it across the sky. Have you had a chance to use a de-power kite yet? I know you said that you were trying to get ahold of a
synergy, and you like to landboard. When I started I used an ace 5m like so many others, but my mind was blown when I used my first venom2 kite. Its
so gusty where I live and flying de-power changed everything

What's the second PL box? Did you get one Charger or two?
And yes, I used to own an Access XC until my friend destroyed it. R.I.P. There was only one fence in visible sight, and he managed to hit it. Good
job. I've been on fixed bridles for some time now... Just a Twister II 4.1 and 7.7. The 4.1 is pretty much my go-to kite. Kinda lame, but the kite is
a monster for it's size. I have to buy all of my kite stuff with my own money, and I'm unemployed. My parents ruined my opportunity for the Synergy...
I've already ranted about it in like four other topics. So that explains why it takes so long to get new stuff. ...Which I could really use, at this
point. Oh well. At least I'm getting a new board. Well, sorta new. Dylan is selling me his Flight 93.

That sucks about your Access. I know how hard it is when parents don't support your habits. My parents hated skateboarding for like 9 years until it
started to pay my bills then they embraced it.
I'm actually only getting a 15m charger tomorrow. I haven't decided when I'll get a 12m charger. I'm thinking I might just wait to get a 12 phantom
2 when they come out...i mean if they come out early this next year, but I don't know when they are due to arrive. What size of synergy where you
looking at?

Phanny II? Hmmmm. Why not give the PL tube a try? I hear Ferraris are like the
Charger 15 of cars
I was trying to buy a Syn 15. It came with a modified Best bar and Q lines, for $500. Parents blew it. But I still love them. Even though there's a
lot I'd put on the line for a deal like that :P

I'm not a fan of tube kites. I used a few here, but the wind is so gusty that It was so dangerous on land. I had a few close calls. Once i started
using arcs i felt much safer. Sometimes the wind here can be 8mph gusting to 32mph! tube kites are so powerful for wind like that. With my old
scorpion and venoms, the autozenith helped me out quite a bit.

Yeah, I can see your point. ARCs are gust munchers. With a tube, you don't have enough time to depower it when you get slammed with a gust like that.
I have basically the same winds as you. I got picked up by my 4.1m and dropped on a soccer goal a few weeks ago it wasn't pretty
