Well, there was snow in upstate NY this past week, but where it fell, we knew not. Our usual spots only got about 6", not really enough for a decent
base. Jan has a lot of sources, though, and heard that a small hamlet north of Fort Drum, Evans Mills, got "a couple of feet" of snow. He went
hunting this morning and found a farmer willing to let us ride one of his hay fields, which had about a foot of fresh powder. The wind was up and
down, but I actually got a little riding in today! :wee: I used Edgar Winter Group for music.
