Synergy adjustments

Hi,
I fly PL kites since a couple of years, but only the old models, an original Arc, a Bomba and recently a Venom. These kites, except the Venom, doesn't have straps to adjust the flying characteristics. I didn't have test the strap on the Venom yet.
I have a Synergy 15 on it's way to my home, I will be using it as my main kite and I hope to use it on it's full wind range, I'm 70kg. I want to know what are the best settings in the low end and in the high end of the range, what are the best overall settings ?
Also, if someone has about the same weight, does the wind range calculator found Here is a good indicator ?
Thank you.

Matt

The kite has instructs on the straps

Light winds, lose straps.

High wind, tight

VPS is personal preference

My favorite setting is all tight = big air.

If it's used it's already set as many just find one setting and leave it.

It's easier to play with bar trim instead.

Hope this helps

Straps all tight is awesome ... but can be a handful.

Here's the low down on VPC, as posted by Tungsten at www.arcusers.net
http://www.arcusers.net/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=175&p=97...
Quote:
"If you are a light weight, you get away with less VPC (or none at all) in the smaller sizes, and a bit to decent VPC in your low wind kites.
The more your arse is on the lard side (like mine), the more of this healthy shifting VPC effect you will fancy; the lower the wind, the more VPC, the higher the wind (high winds are gusty winds), the less instability you want, so less VPC; as an extreme, you may take the VPC off for the crazy winds.
You sure have to spend a bit of time to find your decent amount of VPC effect for the bigger sizes you use, get used to it and enjoy."

More VPC is non-linear, less is more linear depower travel to kite movement. I like max VPC so far ... YOINK!

Yeah... I got a kite. Or two...
