Anyone up for the second annual OOBE Field Chilli Run?
OOBE Field, Beach Island, SC. How about the last weekend in January the 29th & 30th?

I'll bring the chilli (to guarantee wind!!), corn bread, and warm drinks. You bring your whole kite range cause you never know what we'll get there. No kite fort this year but if someone nearby has a camper to bring and loan for warming up and facilities (It ain't called the Chilli Run for nothing...) that we be awesome.

My parents told me that when I was a kid I needed to hang a pork chop around my neck to get the dog to play with me, now I guess it's cookies to get people to play with me! Oh well, I'm not above putting in a order to have some Aunt B's Chocholate Chip Cookies on hand...

Well I am now out of the running, duh was thinking kiting, not thinking the date. The 30th is my youngest daughters Birthday. She will be 6. Can't miss that one! If the date for her party is not then, I will still try to make it.

So far no response other than you! It turns out though that I have to move over the next few weekends getting our house cleaned out to put it on the market.. . We have 2 men and a truck coming that weeekend so It turns out , I was just about to bail on the meet up myself. Anyone who still wants to come, please do. Tridude, your an Aiken Kite Club /OOBE Field member so you can host anyone new there if you come. Sucks but we can try for Feb maybe. It will still be defiantely "Chili" enough??

I just saw this post. I still havent made it out there yet. I just got a new pl 3m hornet so I can start learning ATB.

Yea! Let me check the polo schedule. We might end up calling it the "Lightning Dodge" that time of year but we get alot of great wind just before the bolts hit, almost every day!
