Know how you feel. Seems like feast or famine with nothing in between these days. I worked 3000 hours last year which was good for the toy budget
but the ole' family starts to forget who you are.
Aim low. Reach your goals, and avoid disappointment.

The workload really seems to take the best days for spending time with the family, especially true for kiting or any other outdoor activities. Chin-up
the gear will be there waiting patiently for when you can finally get away. My grandfather use to say "gotta make hay when the sun is shinning"...I
never knew what he really meant till about 6 months ago. I work as many hours I can get, but its easy to get so caught up in work that every now and
then I really gotta slow down. My kids won't be kids forever and it would be a shame to miss too much of that.
