Im hoping the sun will be out this weekend, that might end up being the deciding factor for me as crazy as that sounds. :bouncing:

I got new bigfoot tires for my buggy so really wanted to test them out. If it's not sunny , I might just come down for a couple hours around noon. It's too cold for me if it's not sunny. It's an hour drive for me to get down there so it's not too bad if I can get a good run in on the buggy.

Ok sweet, im going to keep checking the conditions this week until friday night/ saturday morning.

Go for the water guys.... I've been out the last 4 days here in port a, Good wind and super clean surf...... A good fat wetsuit and a car heater crankin when you get in is all you need......

Depends who's going .. if Kenny want's to meet up , I'll go to surfside , if not I might go to east beach. I like to play with my landboard on that hard pack area near our DBBB camp.

yeah.. look like the SE wind got push to sunday and good chance it's gonna rain all weekend too. Oh well .. means I got more time to work on my second buggy.

it aint summer, but this sunday will be in the 60's.... low teens early in the day to higher teens at night... i do believe i will be heading to the beach : )

there are many reasons i love texas, being able to fly kites year round on the beach is one of them

Absolutely Tri, ive been flying the speed at the house allot.

Funny I just came in from a static fly and as the sun was going down, I had it hovering over my house. I was getting cars to drive down my street looking for the UFO.

So hilarious. I live in a rural area so a speed 17 hovering over a house is a site to see.

Nah.. Dylan is talking about sunday. It's suppose to switch back to south / southeast. I'm hoping it will be a nice southeast all day but it's a few days away and you know how the wind god has been lately. The problem is the rain always come when the wind shifts to SE so there's a 40% chance of rain.

oh yeah i saw sunday's forecast. we shall see what happens. we shall see.

i cant wait to race you head to head on the speeds van. i hope you have good board skills because, im pretty dang fast!

haha ... I'm still learning to landboard so I'm gonna need a slight handicap ..hahaha ... Dylan on the other hand has tried my 17m speed on his new board and was going pretty fast. I might have to use Dylan as my stunt double

wind is looking good,

i would have gone today but i slept in too late, woke up and realized the wind has been blowing great all day.

Next time the water/air temp combo is at least 110 degrees I'm up for a water session. Until then... There should be some great buggy opportunities in the next couple months. East Beach is kinda cool on those strong cold fronts with 25+mph winds on the bay side. Best speeds I ever hit were at SLP after a really strong cold front.. when the winds returned to the south-east. Tides were way out and and smoooooth hard pack. Hit a hair over 50 mph on gps. Usually too many washouts and bumps to do that... but when it's perfect... it's perfect.

yeah east beach is a ton of fun water/ and sand

I was hoping that it won't rain on saturday because the afternoon looks like a nice SE 15-20mph. Looks like it will be pouring though. I got a buddy from Calgary that is here and he wants to fly.
