ELMHIRST KITE WEEKEND Jan 28-30th

Hi Guys

Just wanted to drop in another kiting event that is happening soon, Jan 28-30 at the Elmhirst Resort (elmhirst.com) on Rice Lake in South Eastern Ontario.
This will be the 4th year of the event and every year it gets bigger and better!
The unique thing about this event is that it is held right in front of the Resort on the lake, which means you have full access to all of the resort facilities including, indoor pool, hot tub, 2 restaurants, a wellness spa, horseback riding, etc. This works out well if you have non-kiting family members that don’t want to stand out in the middle of a frozen field watching you have all the fun! There are lots of other things to do at the Resort other than kite!
We have a full schedule of kiting events planned for every level of kiter, so don’t worry if you are just starting out in the sport!
In addition to the planned kiting events there are prizes and a swap table, so bring stuff to sell! For the more adventurous kiters we have a 30’ box slider and various kickers for you to play on! In the evenings we gather together for a great meal and to talk about the days events and watch some footage that has been taken by the event’s professional videotogapher!

Forgot to mention this...the Steamwhistle Brewing Company will be there with some product!!!!!

Please make plans to join us, it’s a great event and we always have a blast!

For more info check out the website www.elmhirst.com or email Steve Elmhirst at….steve@elmhirst.com

ELMHIRST KITE WEEKENEND JAN 28-30

Hi Guys

Don't forget the ELMHIRST KITE WEEKEND is on for this weekend. And I'm happy to report that we have lots of nice ridable snow this year!
So if anyone is going to be in the South Eastern area of Ontario come on over and join in all the fun.

Again I would like to emphasize that we have use of all of the Resorts facilities for the entire weekend! So bring your families and other non-kiting friends and enjoy the weekend.

We are planning on having various kite manufacturers there for demo purposes, so come out and try some gear!

Mark, are you still planning on bringing some PL kites for the demo, and maybe some PL swag that we could add to the prize table?

See everyone there, and if you have any questions, please feel free to contact myself or Steve at the addresses in the first post.

Blake

ELMHIRST KITE WEEKEND

Hi Guys

Here is the video that was shot at last years (2010) event.

We did the best we could with no snow, but this year we have lots so the riding will be great! Plus it's still all powder, over a foot of it!!!!!!!!

Enjoy!

Hey Blake
the plan is to head up early friday so we can ride the afternoon. Bringing a bunch of sizes of Chargers and then a mix of my other twinskins. I'll bring some Peter Lynn banners if we need additional course markers. Snow sounds like it's getting deep for skis but good for snowboards.
Ric was going to send me something for the event - 2 more days to go to see if anything arrives before we head out the door - fingers crossed.
See you at the lake friday.
Mark

Request was made to PLP Headoffice. I'm still fairly new there so I'm still in training mode.

Mark check your email in a few hours.
