Cooking Lake Kite festival


Is there going to be a snowkite event this year??? I've been thinking that it was going to happen in Feb. but I can't find any info. Have full plans to make it unless it's -50:smilegrin: But I'm sure the deep freeze will be over by then.

he posted at Kiteboarding Canada (which is run by Mike [Flysurfer Canada} whom put's on the festival) on Jan 5 but has not received replies yet. I imagine once macb gets an answer there he'll post here.

We can make our own festival ANYTIME. Hell, Mike may even come out if he knows there are a bunch of guys that would like to demo his gear.

Alas, I'd hang tight - I know he'll set something up "official-like".
