Info on Revolution Blast
I see it has been quite some time since the Revolution Blast was discussed. Just wondering if there is any new information on this kite. It sure
looks interesting. From what I could gather, although it takes some work to learn, it can be one pulling monster with incredible depowerability and
manuverability. Also, it would appear that it is a fine low wind kite and has a very large useful wind range. Almost sounds to good to be true!
So, who owns one of these beasts (2-4 or 4-8) and what do you think of it?
For those who don't know anything about this kite....here is a video....IT'S JUST PLAIN INSANE!!!!!

Rip your arms out in like, 1 knot! Takes very little for it to fly and pull like a freight train ...
Requires some experience though ... I was a little disappointed at first, because it was so hard to get the balance on the handles right - it's not
like a F.B. or any other Rev at all, but the experience helps.
What the kid was doing in the video with the 2-4, he wouldn't be doing with the 4-8 the big one doesn't stunt so well either.
Yeah... I got a kite. Or two...

I'ved try the Blast static in low wind... it's a nervous one! The two spares vertical get very stiff the frame of the kite... it's a kind of feeling
to fly with a 4X8 plywood ūtick without the weight of that one! You should try it before bought it.
I got 1.5 baressi & 1.5 vented same version... very cool to fly with others people!

a sle 1.5 is like flying a single line kite compared to the quad blast series. The blast series is hands down the most technical kites I have ever
flown. They will produce alot of power and dump all of it in an instant with the flick of your wrist. But it will take lots of practice to get your
skills on the same level as this kite

I have an origanal I got when they first came out. It turned out to be my first power kite. And kicked my butt many times. But it is a fun kite and
requires respect and skill. Which I learned to have both the hard way!

Flown these type of kites, probably a powerblast, at nabx once. Didn't care for it. Way too twitchy with the wrist control. Not something you would
want to fly for hours on end, unlike an arc.

Thanks for the info guys. I think I'll stick to the mainstream for now. I might get one in the future to mess around with, but it would apear that
to use one as a power kite takes lots of practice and becoming "one" with the kite. Right now I need to concentrate more on standard fixed bridle and
depower kites. I don't need another distraction!
