So over the past while on days I've tried to go kiting...the wind has died before or after I've got my gear setup... the forecast changed and there won't be any wind... my wife made other plans and is leaving the baby with me....there was too much wind......way way too cold and not enough snow.....it started pouring and didn't stop the entire vacation.......I got called out for a service call just as I was heading out the door.......snowmobilers twice invaded the area I was setting up to attempt a night session and gave zero respect for what I was trying to do (tonight included)........and at the end of the day my foreman informed me that he signed me up for safety courses on the two days he knew I was planning on going kiting this week.....the rest of the time when I'm at work while everyone else plays sick to go snowmobiling, its blowing nice and the temps are decent. Does anyone else have these issues or is it just me. I've tried to stay positive when my plans got changed, but this is getting tiring. I haven't flown a kite in almost three months.

edit....I remembered I tried to snowkite in December but it only lasted 15-20 minutes and the wind died, still haven't had a decent session in a long while

Maybe the world really is against you. Hard to say for sure. The only thing I can advise is patience. Things will come around eventually.

yep, the fickle finger of fate is def trying to bring you down.....just think how good it will feel when your flying again.......i know how you feel--i haven't been out very much lately--yesterday,went out and wind was 3-4,so at least the wind meter got some exercise--spring will be here soon, with big winds,so im not sweating it........

the world is deffo against us all, none of us will get out alive!

Sorry guys if I was being a downer when I posted this last night.....I know that there are a lot of people on here and elsewhere who are in worse situation. I love that I have a family and a stable job. I just got real frustrated after getting stumped for the millionth time last night. I'll try to be positive next time.
