North Husky from 2005 or so. Closed cell. Grunty and powerful, but not near the depower range of newer foils. Well made. I have a friend who would be happy to unload an 8 or 10 m with North bar for cheap, but I'd recommend you have your kite skills down before you go with one.

Alright cool! Thanks krumly!

Alright this is kind of a random question but has anybody ever used a GIN Inuit kite? I've been looking to buy one. Problem is I don't see anybody on here using a GIN kite.

B-roc has them I believe, at least he has good things to say about them(GIN kites in general), I can't quite recall if he owns that specific model.

I fly a Gin Eskimo III 10m and love it. Inuit is no longer in production. Nor is the Eskimo for that matter. Gin combined the two into the Yeti in 2011. They distribute through Canada and just added a distributor in TX. Not a thing bad with Gin Kites. Quality sails, quality craftsmanship, quality bar and great flying characteristics. I was planning on getting a Yeti around December but between Christmas and some major unexpected bills I just incurred, I'm not sure if I can do it this winter.

I've never flown an Inuit but would take one if I could get one (or an Eskimo III or IV or a Yeti).

Love them and wish they had better distribution in the States.

My favorite gin eskimo III vids

Cool vids! So around what price range, in US dollars, do you think it'll be?

They aren't cheap. I emailed the US dealer after responding to you to ask for pricing on the Yeti.

Follow this link to the Canadian dealer pricing.

http://www.kitebroker.ca/fiche.php?lan=fr&cat=4&prod...

They list $800 for a 4.5m and $1300 for a 10.5 (CN $). Not sure what the mark up is on them.

Check your u2u for more information on the III series which I didn't post here.

I had a bit of a run on a 4.5m Gin Inuit. More bridles than I've ever seen on a kite (I think it's called cross bridles - but I'm not putting money on it). It had more power but less depower than a 6m XC Access. But I couldn't deal with the bar - it has a small central hole with two strands of thick main line through it. As soon as I turned the bar, it locked onto the line so I was stuck with whatever power setting I had. Unacceptable. The sail was very well put together - no cutting corners in it's manufacture. But I'd have to say it was not my favorite kite. Actually, now that I think about it, I reckon it had more power than my 4m Beamer.
