does anybody know how often landboarders go through tires out there? My team manager at trampa is sending me a spare set to bring. Is two sets enough for a week out there?

just remember to rotate your rims around to get the most use out of them. than again you're airborne more so you'll be keeping a lot of rubber on them. thread seems to only go when you're scrubbing off speed or in your case edging.

its better to have more than less in my books. it seems to differ each year. one year I went through only 1 tire and another year i went through 6+

That rumble is actually the sound of my handles wrapping around my axle!

At least these tires will get there and back during the out&back, unlike rip who I believe had 3 blown tires last year in less then one hour! hehe

If riding powered then TBH dont think so!

As we are scrubbing for jumps we in total went through 30 tyres over 2 weeks incl pre event!

I really think you will need more than 2 sets!

dang dude thats crazy haha...i'm already so broke. are there gonna be any suppliers that may have atb wheels for sale out there just in case? I guess I could probably get trampa to send out a bunch to sell as spares when people need them.

No worries flyjump, crazy John is bringing a boatload of spares
(on the other hand, he does tend to break lots too so if you can get Ted to send you some more...)

10 days, woop woop!

I was planning to be on barrow most of the time. I don't think I'm going to even bring my BF's as they are second hand and I'm not sure if they'll survive the playa, plus the front tire is too nice to destroy on the playa. But that said I'd sure like to have some bigger ATV tires for some gripy fun!
