Wind is like a drug: many people are addicted to it, too much of it and you could end up dead or in the hospital, too little of it and you\'ll go
crazy, and just the right amount makes for a good time.
also why does it say i made two threads i only made one?

Pre-2010 = Urethane Bazooka, Compatible with Vegas Hubs
early/mid-2010 & Later = Goodthane Bazookas, Compatible with Crossair hubs only (not compatible with Vegas Hubs).
The Goodthane Bazookas were in prototype last year, and Akoni posted some feedback on them as well as a YouTube video, but I am not sure if they ever
made it to production or not.
I forgot what the originals ran, but I remember there being a bit of sticker shock (spendy). The newer ones were slated to sell for $89 for a set
without hubs.
I haven't seen the older Bazookas in stock on any of the retail sites in a good while. If you don't hear from Dave soonly, I would give the GI
[(864)295-3991] a call on Monday and see if they have any hiding in the rafters. That's what I had to do for some older stuff last year.
Alternatives might be: MBS Roadies which will run on standard 8 inch hubs.
Cheng Shin slicks which require something like the MBS Tri-Spoke hubs.
Depending on how often you intend to make the swap and what your budget is, you might consider seperate hubs for the two wheel sets. Swapping mounted
wheels on the board is just 4 nuts... swapping out tires on a semi-regular basis is a bit more of a drag.

Sam
P.S. Not sure why the double post. Either a forum glitch or your evil twin was posting at the exact same time. :o

but why would the new ones not fit the vegas hubs?
and i allready sent dirt dave a message and he said hes going to look for me
i just really wish i would have bought them while dakitez still had them
ive searched all of the internet and i can only find them allready on boards

I had a set or two and sold them a long time back but forgot to update the listing on my site. I recently had a customer order a set and I sent Dave
looking through the rafters. Luckily he was able to find me a set. I hope you are as lucky.
I do have 4 sets left of the vegas (hubs and bearings only) at crazy cheap $40

It's been awhile since I have had both hubs dismantled at the same time. So some of this is guess work, you confirm with Dave. The Bazooka are
airless. They basically conform the inner portion of the tire and has to perfectly match the profile of the channel in the hub. I don't believe the
channel profiles of both Vegas and Crossair hubs are the same.
More squared off on the Vegas hubs and more smooth curves on the Crossairs.
In addition to the composite (fiberglass reingorced?) nylon, I think this profile tweaking was meant to make the Crossairs more bombproof. So,
backward compatibility had to take one for the team.
OK... that's enough belly-button staring for one night.

Funny thing I never paid attention to this. As soon I read this I went and grabbed some off the shelf. yes indeed! The crossairs have a more round and
thick lip where the vegas are very thin and sharp. Thanks Sam for teaching me something today. I didn't get to kite today but now atleast it wasn't a
total loss
if you are still looking i have a set of four on crosshair hubs these are the colored one in green ,brand new never used so they look great, 100
bucks and all you have to do is bolt them on
