I am pretty amazed there isn't more interest in this kite ?
4.2 is a nice size .

Nothing out there exactly compares to a C-quad and it still remains competetive in most feilds. Even the flying experience is something between NPW and race kite.

Want a unique kite + experience ? Here you go.

I will probably bring my 4.2 to NABX . Please approach me if you want a demo ( and can fly without crashing)

Kites: 2.5m Profoil , Quadrifoil XL kitesurfer, NPW 5 Danger.
Flexifoil: 1.7m Sting, 4.9m Blade 3, 9m Blade 2.
Flysurfer : 19m Speed 2 SA, 7m Pulse
Peter Lynn :18m Phantom, 15m Synergy, 10m Synergy, 1200 Farc, 460 Sarc, 130 Tarc, 5m Peel, 4.2m , 6.4, 8.5 C-Quads, 3.5 LS2 single skin.

Rides: Flexi / P.L. Frankin'Buggy , Shaped + straight skiis, sand skis, Coyote blades. Core 95 ATB. RKB R2 ATB .

If that was this thread I don't think you're trying very hard. ;-) http://www.powerkiteforum.com/viewthread.php?tid=14121&p...

You might want to try a new post with the sizes listed. Maybe some prices too? Why do I get the feeling shipping on these would be pricey?

Frankly I'm intrigued by the small C-Quads as kites for my 90lb daughter. What's the skill requirement on these? She already flies a 3m FB, but we popped it twice in a row and I have my doubts about my ability to repair it.

Ha ha, I also went looking for bgp's posting, because I didn't remember a listing for his c-quads, and didn't find it! No wonder! Thanks for the link, Philip. :bigok:

It was kind of funny that his post about his C-Quads was the last post in the thread. "Hey anyone want some C-Quads?"

(Awkward silence)

The Cquad uses spars so damage can happen in a crash but most often it happens in packing up. They are very easy to repair and you can get parts from PL or most good kite shops.
Still, I'm not sure it's the best kite for a kid to learn on ?

Kites: 2.5m Profoil , Quadrifoil XL kitesurfer, NPW 5 Danger.
Flexifoil: 1.7m Sting, 4.9m Blade 3, 9m Blade 2.

Rides: Flexi / P.L. Frankin'Buggy , Shaped + straight skiis, sand skis, Coyote blades. Core 95 ATB. RKB R2 ATB .

We have several C-quads and they fly awesome. And good pullers in the right winds. But as yo say they don't pop when you drive them into the ground LE first. They break at several points!! But there is a site that sells any and all parts you may need to fix these. I'll try to post the web page when I find it.
