Personally, I'd put a 4m Access XT in the quiver for a 18-30 knot kite - it's really forgiving and friendly (MUCH more so than a fixed bridle) when the wind starts to crank. (Or the 3m Apex III - I'm told that kite is really nice). Really like the 6.5m Method for 7-14 knots. Or you could go a 9-11m depower - Frenzy/Montana which would probably fill the 6-15 knot bracket. I have never flown the PL Arcs - but they seem to have a big following here....

BTW - there is a huge difference in wind range/performance for different kites of the same size. ie: I have a Century II 2.8m which I think is TWICE the power of a 3m Flow and more powerful than a 4m Method. But the 4m Method is much, much easier to fly. Flying a 6.5m Method up against a 6.8m Yakuza - similar size kites but absolutely chalk and cheese to fly. Yak has FAR more power in 6-10 knots but then it overpowers you pretty quick after that while the Method hits it's stride and away you go. I'm still finding this stuff out all the time - the size of the kite only tells a small part of the story....

Never a more true statement. Consider the size of the kite used for the current land buggy record......lots of power packed into a small package.

What speed of wind do you usually have?
what surface do you fly on?
Static, buggy, landboard?
How much do you weigh?

Very, very true. I have found the same power in as much as a 2m difference of size, just based on the type of kite. True, 2m is the extreme. But a full meter is very common. So with the info on the variables that you provided (conditions, your weight...etc) if you were to give an example of which type of kite to use as an example, it would help a lot.

The Flux's are really well made nice flyers. Everyone that has been part of the pass the pansh that I started and the others at wildwood buggy bash , have ALL said the same thing..We were all impressed with the improvements over older stock.
And you deffo can't judge a kite by size alone The most dangerous kite I own is a little bitty red Pansh Ace 2m! It just depends how it was built and what it was built for.

Nomad ,you could use a little 2m foil for really high wind and a larger 7-8 m foil for those days when you can barely feel any wind you can still buggy.

looking at the Pansh airlink 6mt and with it you get a free flux 2mt at the moment on the Pansh web site seems like a good dea,l not sure of the airlinS-P-A-M-L-I-N-K-s characteristics though (lifty, racy, or subtle)??? have you flown one??
