Oh, I'm hoping for a post here every day. I'm almost embarrassed by my current 45.1 mph pb. I gotta break 100 kph this year. I'm lucky enough to get many more chances though so that takes away some of the pressure.

In a buggy mine's only 35,with a kitewing no less lol! Standing up seems less scary at speed than sitting

702, How did you ride a buggy with a kitewing ?!?!?! Too close to the ground i'd think? Tips dragging alot?

i don't know about this 100kps i'm just trying not get hurt,every year somebody duze,just heard abouts grants misfortune i'm happy with my 56.6mph but i must have made a deal with the devil they said the wind was to build this afternoon so i said i'm going to try, i put 30 pounds of air inmy back tires 22 in front what do i know,, i go out at 10-30put the pads on, face mask on,heading out to the hy-way 48mph great oh ship i forgot my kite stake come back in ed holds my kite, i run an get it, back in the buggy i head up to the water tank an turn there i'm going toward bb i blast by the blokart people 57.9 oh why can't it be 58 heading back up at the water tank 10 mph that took a lot out of me ,thinking well i can quit now i did it . lets go one more time ,back up to the tank ,my kite [a 2m jojo rm] pulls left ,ok i guess i going here, back down to bb, i'm really scared, i blast by the blokart peole once more i look down 62.1 wow i'm done for the day ,i have 35 wittness this should be ok and all that befoe 12pm ,i though that would sound great,and i'm diabetic to boot what a day and i did 50 miles to, i'm beat, but it was a wicked good time.

Ill be watching everyday....................now get out there and set some PBs and do it safely!!!:duh:

doublespeed thats awesome. If you can do it, maybe I can too. You achieved my goal I have set for this nabx. Of course I'll be happy with any bumps in my pb, but to cross 50 mph and of course 60 would be fantastic. 67 mph won't get you in the top 10 on PTWs site, but only 33 are showing that they've topped 60. Keep safe and see if you can step it up even more this week.

Any word on a new world buggy record today? I got a skype message that could indicate that but can't get verification or corraboration. If I understood correctly there were 2 rides that would break last years record significantly and another in the upper 70s. Could be a joke or kph considering the source.

With the wind sensor reading I've seen, I hope the record was shattered :D Can't wait to hear!!!

That vid gives the nicest shot of a suicide gybe I've ever seen. This is how I've run it through in my head and was going to try it. I just couldn't see myself running at speed and doing a downloop to start the turn.

Myself, K3, and Nocando (one crazy Aussie), accomplished a first. Guess you can say it's a PB. We beat the Dutch to the playa this morning!

That not a first, it just means that bacon at breakfast was better than the wind... :D

I made several runs into the high 40s and then made about 3 runs with the purpose being to break 50. One more small step in my quest for 100 kph. Actual speed was 50.4 mph with a 10m synergy in the Ivanpah buggy.

I know Popeye, I looked for you all the time when I was out and never did spot your coopers when I was out or heading out.

my 50.4 is going to have to go up. Seems like there are close to a hundred buggiers that have gone faster. I want to move up the ladder.

I'm sure Dino will vouch for me hitting in the high 40s, since we did that run together and I somehow hit about 2mph faster on the run. I'll make sure on all the next ones, I get it while the gps is in the buggy, with my face as well. They should come often in a few months if the wind is willing. I'm hoping to put some miles on that HQ prodigy and Toxic as well. My pb last year was on the Prodigy.
