Thank you Sam

I just wanted to give a quick thanks to Sam (indigo_wolf). This is a great forum filled with great people, and Sam always goes above and beyond to help everyone as much as possible with thick, informative posts and links and whatever else he throws in there. I'm sure all of you have been assisted by him in one way or another... On this forum or another... so thank you. As an aspiring kiter and a kid who is just trying to find out what life is all about... I really appreciate it.

You've obviously mistaken me for someone else.

Very flattered (I wonder if there is a way to sneak this onto the resumé :puzzled: )

There's a scary amount of technical information on PKF of which I might add a cat's whisker worth (hmmmm... that could just be dog hair).

Still thanks for the kind words. I think I might have thrown a hip out falling out of the chair.

ATB,
Sam

Sam

Wildwood is a great time and certainly worth the trip. I know you would certainly enjoy it.

We can hook you up with transportation and logging if you need it.

If you think you can make it let me know and we can figure it out.

Sam jokes about insomnia but I'm always glad to have him here. A near-infinite source of info, and whatever he doesn't know for certain he'll google.

Thanks for everything, sam.

I can't wait to meet up with you guys :) I know Adam says he'll beat me if I'm not at NABX next year. I'm so lucky to have this wonderful community of people to help me out... I know a lot of you on here didn't have this forum for many years, and finding help must've been rather difficult. Thank you all for graciously sharing your knowledge. I along with every other kiter who stumbled upon this place am very grateful. We were all noobs once... I can't think of a better place to look to get started.

Yeh, I'll have to disagree... No, not really.

Guess I'll admit that I that I thought about starting the "Ask Sam" thread, but obviously refrained as to not infer that others cannot contribute.

Although, I still wonder where he digs this stuff up and how does he do it so fast??

I've always pictured a dark room, with Sam sitting in front of a bank of computer monitors and keyboards. Maybe that's how he's so fast?

Yeh, and doing some weird Tom Cruise Minority Report shiz. And the monitors are just clear flat screens. And they levitate. Oh, and there's a computerized butler. :D That's voice activated. ...With a mustache! Oh, and it's a kangaroo. There must be a kangaroo.

I think Sam is really a supercomputer named "deep blue"who is bored w/ it's handlers and has a secret port to the internet. He really wants to be one of us so he can fly too. So he lives vicariously through us.................

If it's not true Sam,then come toWW and prove me wrong!
