Remembering Sion Milosky

i never met the dude, never even surfed... and until today, hadnt really heard about this guy... but this is a great video, and after reading up on him, Sion seemed to be a great guy....

At the very least he did what made him happy, even died while doing it.... but he was able to be at peace with nature, and love every minute of it... And maybe im way off base, but, man, if something as simple as riding a wave, or riding the wind can make your life better, just go for it...

ahh, sorry... just made me reflect a little today on the joys, and dangers of the stuff i usually deem "simple fun" in my life...

peace out

I don't know.... For some reason this video just pulled a heart string or something... Just such a beautiful place, and although different, surfing and kiting, we share a few common bonds.... connecting with nature, and an inexplicable love for something as simple as flying a kite, or riding a wave....

I don't know why, but I'm sad this guy isn't surfing, I'm sad Todd is out for a bit.... But I'm extremely grateful I could fly today...

this vid just stirred a lot of things up in me and I thought I'd be a good share.... Glad you liked it man!!

THere are few people that can take a simple thing like surfing, kiting, sailing or any other activity and make it seem effortless. Watching the videos on his site show that he was a natural. And if this was his second passion he had a lucky family. The support reminds me of when IZ passed a while ago. But the islands are a much closer knit community than most. This is what we need to learn. We are lucky to have this family we share here on the forum. So much support.
