NABX is child abuse

So on Saturday afternoon Kiah took a spill in a blokart and hurt his foot. I looked at it, put ice on it and told him he would be fine. He managed to hobble into the tent for the raffle and dinner. Next day it was feeling better but still hurt like hell. His mom took him to the doctor today and sent me this pic on my cell phone. You can clearly see the break on the edge of his toe bone (phalanx). So we don't know for sure what this means in the long run, he has an appointment with an orthopedist in a few days. He will most likely be fine in the long run, he may need a small surgery or possibly just letting it heal on its own. He has been coming to NABX for 4 years now and this is his first injury.

Tough like his old man! BTW Cerin is in love with yours and Kiah's names and swears she will steal them for future children lol. Glad it wasn't on my rig, I would've felt terrible!

I was right behind him in a buggy when he crashed. That blocart tipped over fast and hard.

Speedy recovery to the only person doing math homework when the wind wasn't blowing!

Sorry to hear it is that bad, but now we'll wish for quick and full healing. I found Kiah sitting beside his buggy over a mile from camp and stopped to check on him. He had a tangle but had it all in control.

I had Wexler at the doctor today for a really sore shoulder after getting yarded while riding the landboard late Saturday. You know, "one last run". Nothing broken or torn and no grief from my better half. :wee:

The Orthopedist said it should heal well within a few months without any further treatment, He just needs to wear a walking cast for a while.
