i will not make this one, because i thought they would put it on later in the year. guess what, i have high hopes for Dino next year for worldcup. he will join me in my adventures. only thing is we need to train him on the Upwind Turns and Suicide Gybes.

damn you!!! Arie asked me to join him for 24hr, but its too close from me getting back from NABX to ask for more vacation time.

hmmm, quit job and buggy or keep job and day dream what im missing? :puzzled:

If you could somehow manage to get Vacation (even last minute) I am sure we could find a team for you for the 24hr.
Equipment shouldn't be a problem considering you connections.

If I showed up at Eurocups several people would explode. We do need to start thinking about World Cup. You will need to have orginized Racing in North America and I will have to somehow attend or they surely won't let us ride.

Did I ever tell you about the article in Kite and Friends? Our names were mentioned and I wouldn't call it positive.

lol, typical Euro vs America again, team of 1 probably doesnt help for USA , Canada and AUS. I wish more would come over with me but i guess its not possible for everyone.

plus they wanted a WORLD CUP, hello WORLD isnt just EURO countries. they might as well have EuroCups Only.

sent it to me .. i would love to see it. plus its probably one persons opinion. There was more guys that sucked in the course, some CZ and another from another country cut me off because he couldnt upwind at the marker on the France Side.

if you make it here, we need to hold some races, and probably the best place with be NABX (past now), SOBB and WBB Fall.

im paying a visit to Holland again in June / July and going to enter the Open Races if possible for some real practice.

well what it said is that the course was way too easy and not at a World cup level. It did not require any skill to ride the course. HHMMMMMMM!!!!!!............

and that Chris Krohn, Richardo Lui, and Matt Bedford all live in Europe so it was a "Europe only" Race.

Lol, sweet getting closer to being in Europe

Well blame the race master not the competitors
Granted the course was too easy but the beach isn't the most widest either.
It would be nice to have a course with a lot of markers it will be a lot like home riding. Speed - turn - go - turn and turn and turn.

It's in France next year so I'll be ready as always. Hopefully it will not be a solo trip again.

Trying to get Dino and Bob to man up and race.

sure the course was not hard, but what would you do diffrently concidering the wind direction, water level, and number of people on the beach? The one thing I would have done would have been to split the beach down the middle. at least then you have everybody going the same direction.

I heard that the Germans went overboard at the Euro. and people were carrying maps with them so they didn't get lost.

We should plan qualifiying races at NABX in 2012. Make it all official and everything, then they can't say anything.
I am planning on being at NABX next year so it would be a good time.

If you, Dino and Bob could make it that would be really cool. Maybe I would just go as a Jury member then.

My name is in this talk only because Ricky is talking it up. I in no way consider my abilities ready to take a stand like showing up at the World Cup. I'm not saying I can't be ready someday, but I'm not there yet. Just not enough hours in the saddle. My upcoming move to the Nevada desert might hasten my progress, but I'll have to get really #@%$#!y and then back it up in the races at nabx next spring before I'm ready to travel across the globe to prove myself in front of others. 50 mph didn't scare me and I'm looking for more every time I go out. Racing is so much more than going fast though.

Ricky, I'm impressed that you've gotten Dino to consider the possibility.

@ Bob

you still got plenty of time to get ready for it. Fall 2012 is still a long way away. And if you are going to have a training ground in your back yard then nothing can stop you (except for yourself)

Looks like you got the right Buggy, Vapors are next, then you are ready to go!!

I think Rip wanted to take Dino along to have someone to watch the equipment during the race. From what I here he is good at that.

Hi Chris
I thing your mixing two things " The Euro cup " and " The Euro championship "

The Euro Cup is in France in about 2 weeks from now and The Euro Championships will be in September later this year At ( I believe ) Hoylake UK .

The Euro Cup is an open entry race so everyone can join the race .. The Euro Championship is entered by the top 10 racers of every European country ( you have to earn you top 10 place )

Have Fun

Good Luck with that.

NABX has REFUSED to run or even allow FISLY races since it became NABX.

Possibly, Fran has a Blowkart event before and he allowed us to race using FISLY rules when he was still running SBBB.

I was talking about Eurocup in Gravelines for the buggy to let. It will be in Gravelines (North of France near "Les Hemmes" beach) the 30th of april and 1st of may.

for the european championship in the UK in September, I will let the national team participate, in Gravelines any pilot with licence (we will find him a number ;-) ) can come and participate, this was the reason I was proposing to let my buggy, as I will be full time race master !

For the world championship in july 2012, if some pilots coming from far away want to find some help for organizing it, do not hesitate to contact me.

In fact Eurocup(s) is open to any pilot with a licence
