Wildwood Spring Reflections 2011

Once I get home and get unpacked from WW, I start telling the wife and kids about all the highlights of the weekend. Well I can tell you now, that this time there were plenty of highlights.

Starting with the best day I had on the beach in a while on Thursday. Waking up to 25 plus mph winds on Friday, heading down to North Beach and watching some extremely talented buggiers get busy! Paul with his haulin 360's, Danny, Chris, Craig and Claude with their high speed passes, and great power slides. Adam getting big air and Scott getting air with their land boards! Todd getting back in the saddle again was also another great thing. It was also nice seeing Bob again after his absence from the Fall bash!

Saturday's BBQ was a great chance to hang with everyone. The weather was not quite cooperating, very strong winds, heavy rain and hail in spots, but the gang stuck it out and waited for the raffle. the raffle was great! Kober being uber excited about winning his kite, (totally hilarious) up to the super excited Neil that won the VTT buggy! Finally getting to meet Van after months of chatting on the phone was also a great pleasure. Very great guy!

I can only say thank you to all that came to the bash. You guys always make it a great experience. Whether I get to fly or not, I love being around such a great group of people. See you in the fall!

Actually Chad you were one of the high light moments of the week, with your Kite Rescue in 45 degree water! You were the hero on Friday no doubt!

We left sunday and head straight for Atlantic City to get vietnamese beef noodles for lunch then drove straight to New York City. Got lost somewhere in the projects for an hour but finally made it to Battery Park. Took ferry to staten island so got some pics of the Liberty lady. She's alot smaller than I thought!! By the time we got back to the car, it was late and my wife didn't like NY city that much so we went back to Jersey City and got a hotel for the night. Drove back to Philly on monday and spent the day at the museum district. Finally got home to houston around 10pm. The lost my luggage but finally found it on another plane :puzzled: For some reason they figure as long as it got to houston, they didn't care what plane it was on?

Henry is still asking about the girls. He told us he wanted to move to Maryland so he can play with them. I'm gonna have to come visit Chad.. hehehe..

btw .. he made friends at the airport, on the plane, and even hit on this one really cute chinese lady on the ferry!! Next time we are gonna have to leave the wife at home. Just me, henry, and the women he picks up.
