Used Apex III 5m complete de-power $old shipped

I used this kite for one day at nabx. I washed off the playa dust and it looks good. There are a few places that still have some dust, so if you are picky about it you will want to give it a hosing off. I went 48 mph with this kite and that was its upper max limit. I was impressed with that speed for a low aspect kite like this. I like the kite and would keep it around but the winds do not get strong enough on my home field to warrant keeping it around till next year. The kite comes complete and ready to fly.

There's are some that would marry this kite, if there was a tad more white in the canopy.

In depth review can be found --> here .

If you prefer pretty pictures that move with a catchy tune, I believe Drew has graciously obliged:

Someone needs to jump on this  ... err umm... after the exchanging of vows, of course. :saint:

Maybe you should also consider getting some race kites to go with your race buggy. WUSS!!!

You need to prepare for WBB Fall, you have no excuse to trail behind me now. Time for you to keep pace.

PS. beaverbob is faster than you, hahaha

Is the A3 slower than the A2?

I only ask because I've seen the A2 7.5m over 60mph (on the skis) and she seemed like she'd give more if I had more room to run.

Those Apexs are great kites. So underated.

I don't doubt little Asian boy is correct.

But to answer your question I didn't take the A2 5m up to that speed so I can not say if one is slower than the other. I had this A3 on the closest knot to the bar with the main lines and the trimmer was all the way in. That was the only way I know to get the most speed out of the kite. Even still the kite sat way back in the window and at the slightest thought of pulling in the bar the kite dropped way back and turned into a parachute. So in my mind that was all the speed I could get from that kite. Maybe if I dove down wind for a second to try and get a nice boost of speed for the gps reading I may have went faster ;-) Plus if I had the 7.5m up at the same conditions I may have also went faster .... guess i will have to go back to ivanpah and try that :smug:
