what is the low end mph water on this kite?

im 180 pounds on a 135x44

This is a great kite! I used mine with the buggy 2 weeks ago in 10 mph and was rockin! Upwind is off the chart, turns quickly, and is lifty when you want it to be. (and sometimes when you don't as evidenced by my oobe after a late re-direct)

I would think you would need 20mph for water use at 180 pounds. There is a video out there with this kite on the water at Hatteras and I think the wind was at 20.

This kite and the 11m that I have are true park and ride sails and function very well at the low end of their respective ranges. My 8 has been modded with a 5th line safety by Coastal Wind Sports. The safety is removable for lighter winds.

M, thanks for the additional info. For 180lbs I woukd say at least a steady 20, I don't have that much air time on this kite to say any better.
