Went away to Hamamatsu for the long weekend ...

Stuck in traffic on the way there, 2.5 hour drive turned into 5.

When we eventually got there, the wind had turned cross offshore and was gusting 10 to 30 knots :o I measured it, for once.

Got hassled by the retards they employ to be police over here for "stopping on a hill" - was setting the GPS for a sausage shop ( :puzzled: ) and stopped just outside the beach carpark ... the road goes up and over a drain thing, maybe 2 m tall

The next day was forecast to be 15 knots onshore and we got ... absolutely zero. Went home in a foul mood and spent 6 hours on the road :wow:

... y'know, all the times I've driven to that beach and tried riding there, I've only ever had ONE day of good riding and that was my first lesson. I don't think I'll bother going there for kiting any more!!!

That sucked man.
