Introduction
Hi everybody!!
I have been lurking for a month or two and decided it was time to start contributing to the conversation.
I am in Colorado so the winds can be a bit fickle to say the least :shocked2:.
I started out in sport kites about 7 years ago and then discovered Revolutions in '07 and then...
Last year I got the "advanced buggy package" from A Wind of Change - a great gateway drug :wee::wee:
Flew a few times, got Nuked and OBE'd a few times and back burnered the power stuff for most of the year.
About December I dusted off the Power stuff and took a more concerted approach to learning the power and the buggy. I decided to use the "it takes
three sessions on a snowboard to learn it" approach to buggying and gave myself 30 good sessions to learn what I was doing. [As of today I am at 14
which includes several 1/2 sessions:P].
This spring I decided that I knew enough about what I was doing and about my winds that I needed a larger wing for the lower winds so I got the Viper.
This turned into a great example of the customer service of the member dealers on this forum.. I ordered it from Angus but due to shipping timelines
etc he ended up having Big Mike deliver it. Kudos to both of them for doing that for me.

Welcome .... its always great to have a new member that has some experience and input. (and the fact that you buggy is good too lol)
Mark down nabx 2012 on your calendar it should be the end of march / beginning of april some time. Its close enough for you to hop in the car and
drive on down. One day there will be equal to the next 15 sessions on your own in your learning curve
Except be warned if you come down watch out for a little Asian guy that goes by the name of Ricardo. About the only thing he will teach you is how to
get stuck in the middle of the lake bed with no wind to get you back :P

re: the NABX riding - yea watching all of the videos and discussion of passes measured in miles/ kilometers and then going out to my 3 -5 soccer
fields with my 15 -20 sec./ 100 m passes
Oh I have gotten lot of practice at being on the wrong end of the wind relative to my base camp. Ah the joys of learning to go up -wind with low/
gusty wind.
