End-of-vacation blues......

I'm sitting out front of our beachfront cabin listening to the lapping water and the wind rustling the palms. Man I don't wanna go home! This is my post-NABX blues only not NABX and I barely kited. I spent an hour and a half this afternoon just hanging out with Mike, the owner of Otherside Boardsports at his shop just relaxing, chatting about gear, spots, YouTube vids, cable parks, kids (he was on baby duty looking after his little daughter and his older son), life, travel.......it was cool. We have little in the way of kiteshops like that around Edmonton and even less in the way of kiters talking to kiters (one of the reasons I love PKF so much).

Couldn't bring myself to strapping the directional on the roof but damn I was tempted. Oddly I bet he'd have talked me out of it knowing it'd be a while before it fit my kite life. She sure was purdy though.......woulda looked good on the roof of my car.

See y'all when I'm back in e-town. *sob*
